Current Lab Members
Clinical Research Coordinator
Camryn has a Master's Degree in Public Health Practice from Wayne State University. She is interested in how research can be used to improve health and quality of life, particularly for underserved and at-risk populations. She enjoys working on research that combines public health, behavior change, and community engagement to create solutions that have a real long-lasting impact. In her free time, she loves to experiment in the kitchen, escape with a good book, and be with family and friends.
Research Specialist in Community Outreach
Betoul is a community outreach specialist at EHBOL. She earned her MPH from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, concentrating in Health Behavior and Health Education. Passionate about community-driven advocacy, she is dedicated to ensuring that community voices remain at the center of public health initiatives. Outside of work, you can find her experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or out on the golf course.
Research Assistant
Chelsey is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science at the School of Kinesiology. She is passionate about expanding access to health care for underrepresented communities and making research more accessible and impactful for those who need it most. In her free time she loves to play volleyball and exploring the many nature walks around Ann Arbor.
Research Assistant
Mark is a senior at the University of Michigan, majoring in Applied Exercise Science (AES). His interests focus on exercise oncology, particularly how physical activity can support recovery and quality of life in cancer patients. Before U-M, he served in the Marine Corps and worked as an EMT, experiences that shaped his commitment to patient care. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, playing the guitar, and traveling.

Clinical Research Coordinator
Hala has a master's degree in Movement Science. She is passionate about conducting culturally relevant physical activity research for racial and/or ethnic minority communities across the U.S. In her free time, she enjoys exercising through pilates and yoga, as well as spending time with her family, friends, and pets! She is now pursuing a PhD in Movement Science at the University of Michigan School of Kinesiology.
Research Assistant
Oceane graduated from the University of Michigan in 2025 with a double major in Applied Exercise Science (AES) and Biopsychology, Cognition, & Neuroscience (BCN). Following her time in the lab, she is now working as a Clinical Research Assistant at Rush Medical Center.
